An app supported by advertising may be free at the point of use, but the product still has to create value for advertisers. Families should understand whether an app includes third-party advertising SDKs, behavioral targeting, sponsored placements, or pressure to spend through unrelated offers.

Taalimi does not show ads and does not use advertising SDKs. Starter provides a free way to begin, while an optional Premium subscription funds access to the full learning journey and additional household features.

Product analytics and advertising tracking are different, but both should be explained. Ask whether analytics is optional, which events are collected, whether learner content is included, and whether session recordings or precise location are enabled.

Taalimi's optional product analytics is adult-controlled. The code limits analytics to an allowlist of product events and bounded properties. It excludes names, emails, account and learner identifiers, question text, answers, free-form input, ad identifiers, precise location, and session replay. Choosing no clears queued events and prevents future capture.

A privacy policy should match the actual product. Check who creates the account, how deletion works, who controls reminders and subscriptions, and whether a child can accidentally make a public profile.

Taalimi uses adult-managed accounts and learner profiles. Public privacy, support, terms, and account-deletion pages are available on the same website so families and store reviewers can inspect them before installing.
